We have the following packages available for eye examinations:
-
This test involves our standard eye exam, including checking your vision at all distances, as well as a general eye health check with an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scan. At the end you will get professional advice for vision assistance if required, such as spectacles, contact lenses or sunglasses.
-
This test includes our standard eye test PLUS wide view retinal imaging with our advanced imaging equipment. This is an excellent tool that helps our optometrist get a detailed look at the retina and blood vessels in the back of your eye. It provides a wide view up to 200% larger than a standard retinal camera. It aids to detect early conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and other retinal changes that occur in people with diabetes and may not be seen with a normal eye exam.

Diabetic retinopathy is best diagnosed with a comprehensive dilated eye exam. For this exam, drops are placed in your eyes to dilated your pupils to give the Optometrist better view inside your eyes. The drops can cause your close vision to blur until they wear off, several hours later. We recommend that you have a driver for after your appointment.

Contact lenses are now more comfortable, affordable, and easier to wear than ever before. Our contact lens consultation includes an eye test, assessment of your suitability, and personalised recommendations for the best lenses to suit your needs. For first-time wearers or those who have struggled with contact lenses in the past, we provide guidance on insertion and removal to ensure you feel confident and comfortable.
If you wish to trial contact lenses, please give us a call or book online to get started. A fitting fee applies to the insertion and removal training. If you have had an eye examination in the past 12 months, you may not require a full exam—just let us know when booking. If it has been over 12 months, we recommend booking a full eye examination to ensure the best results.
